Hi in the previous post I spoke of a few key members of staff in an interview for TSTV.
In this post I will up date you with four players who I believe will be key to any success during our first season in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League. (Thank you to @theFMeditor85 for his English Level 10 database.)(And thank you to @WTForkGaming for the graphics/player faces).
Firstly, Alexander “Al” Strong, Al is currently our team captain and is also a centre back. At 22 he has years on his side and has strengths in heading along with being naturally fit. He is a twin, and alongside his brother Ben, he will no doubt put fear in the opposition forward line as the pair look like a brick wall together. There has been talk that he’d rather not be captain and would rather concentrate on his game, something I may have to consider if the armband becomes a distraction.
Secondly, Rafe Hands, Rafe is a goalkeeper with the world at his feet. He is a former Repton Schoolboy and when he is not down the club can be found working for his fathers’ law firm in Derby. The big lad as great confidence in his ability and sometimes can be seen trying the spectacular for the camera when plan and simple would do. At 22, if we can push the club to the next level Rafe will have some big decisions to make over his future.
Thirdly, Karl Wright, Karl is a left footed left winger with a cracking cross in his locker. Karl is a recent signing and supposedly was on the books at Notts County and Derby Midland FC (@FMPoacher) when he was a kid. He was spotted by Dave Hackett playing for a 5-a-side team during the summer at the Newhall football festival held annually.
And last by no means least is Eddie Beans. Eddie is a 17 year that Dave pushed into the first team just before I joined. He is tall for his age and has a keen eye for goal. His fearless attitude and strong belief we hopefully put the boy in good stead for being the teams main goal threat.
In the next episode we will explore Preseason for the squad and introduce you to some ingame additions.
